Tres Hombres Shanty Crew (Walther – Adrian – Horst) exists since 2015 and sing authentic shanties, seasongs and forebitters in various languages.
Usually three-voice vocals and sometimes instrumental accompaniment. In addition, we are happy to provide text and explanations about the origin and meaning of the songs.
Together we have many years of experience in singing these authentic shanties that were sung aboard the old sailing ships (freight / fishermen / whaling).
Over the past twenty years we have, as a member of “Zingerij Dwarsgetuigd” and Reederij Overtuygt, performed at many festivals, including Biedaip Appingedam, Sail Vlissingen, Sail Den Helder, Workum, Harbor Parties Rotterdam, Bremen, Cuxhaven, Oldenburg and Paimpol and many Shanty- cafe’s.
